TRC delights on sale! Helen and Barbara who facilitate the womens Drop-in's were there along with some of the women who attend these sessions,to sell some of the handmade goods made.

Ice and Fire who explores Human Rights Stories through performance Asylum Monologue was performed by Sue Buchan on behalf of ice and fires outreach project, Actors for human rights, a network of more than 500 professional actors dedicated to drawing attention to contemporary human rights concerns. At the Stakeholders event Sue performed the moving account of  'Marjories Testimony',  an amazing woman from Uganda who after surviving torture and rape in an army prison, escapes to UK to face further challenges and the emotional torture of 'waiting for the Home Office' to decide her fate.
Remember the muslin squares everyone decorated personally at the TRC Conference back in March? Well it has now been made into a quilt, which was unveiled at the stakeholder event...
... and here it is!!! A beautiful piece of art created by over 100 people  which captures the moment of the Black Asian and Minority Ethnic Conference which TRC organised back in March 2012.We are now planning for the quilt to travel and it has already begun it's journey having been exhibited in Windsor  at the British Psychology Society's Psychology of Women's Annual Conference. Please contact us if you have an event where you would like the quilt to be displayed.
